DECAPITATED Singer 'Is Stable And On His Way To A Full Recovery'
February 22, 2008Polish extreme metallers DECAPITATED — whose drummer, Witold "Vitek" Kieltyka, died on November 2 in a Russian hospital from injuries sustained in a road collision — have issued the following update:
"Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to each and every person due to the overwhelming response followed by the tragic events of last October.
"The friends and families of Covan [DECAPITATED singer Adrian Kowanek, who was also hurt in the accident] and Vitek will do their best in keeping you up to date with news on DECAPITATED and everything pertaining to the Vitek and Covan charity fund.
"The auction and tribute shirts have been temporarily delayed — but they are still in the works and should be up and running in the near future. We are also waiting on a statement from Covan's family about his current condition. As far as we know, he is stable and on his way to a full recovery. We have high hopes for the future.
"Thanks again to everyone for your amazing show of support. It really means the world to us."
